To Succeed: Learn To Say "Thank You" - Mean It And Make It A Habit

"Thank you" over the years have become more like a cliché. It has lost its meaning and is more like a formality to be fulfilled. Whereas this little word has the power to bring a smile on a face pouring tears. It's the greatest thing you can do to make a person happy. If said by the heart. We can all become so engrossed with our work and the reason we are here, that this simple courtesy is easy to forget. I think that many of us get caught up in the story of me and forget to thank others who have helped us get to where we are today. Regardless of how little their favours might be, always learn to say thank you to those that support you one way or the other. When you do this, favours will always come across your way, for one simple reason, those that you show appreciation to will always be happy anytime they think about you and the more people have happy thoughts towards you, the more you will find yourself in situations that will make you happy.

Even if you tell them "Thank You" and they dismiss it with a wave of the hand, never cease to tell them thank you whenever they show you some kindness. When you do this consistently, you will always receive mercy and kindness from those around you, even from complete strangers.
As a manager of your business or in an organization, always show appreciation to your staff for a good days work. Yes, they get paid to do their job but making sure they feel appreciated will help drive them to do their best possible work! Appreciation via expression by saying Thank you is a wonderful thing. It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well. It makes the strength, skills, energy, connections, goodwill and generosity of others belong to us as well, because the person you appreciate will give himself to help you again and again.
In life you either appreciate or depreciate! The universe is also governed by this law. Businesses are governed by this law. In our journey to success, it is difficult to go it alone and it's even harder to go amidst opposition, but when you learn to value others and their support by showing appreciation through thank-you's, you will be able to overcome every opposition and continue making steady progress. Surprising how many doors saying thank you will open.
Saying thank you should be a habit. Appreciate those who support you and did something to improve your life and you will be able to get more out of them. The story of the ten lepers in the Bible confirms this truth.
Luke 17:12-19 (GW)As he went into a village, ten men with a skin disease met him. They stood at a distance and shouted, "Jesus, Teacher, have mercy on us!"
When he saw them, he told them, "Show yourselves to the priests." As they went, they were made clean.
When one of them saw that he was healed, he turned back and praised God in a loud voice.
He quickly bowed at Jesus' feet and thanked him. (The man was a Samaritan.)Jesus asked, "Weren't ten men made clean? Where are the other nine?Only this foreigner came back to praise God."
Jesus told the man, "Get up, and go home! Your faith has made you well.”
The ten lepers desired the mercy of God through Jesus to heal them of leprosy. Jesus decided to help them and said, "Show yourselves to the priests." As they went, they were made clean. "When one of them saw that he was healed, he turned back and praised God in a loud voice. He quickly bowed at Jesus' feet and thanked him. He turned back to show appreciation and say "Thank you".
Jesus asked, "Weren't ten men made clean? Where are the other nine?". The other nine did not show appreciation - they took the help they got for granted. To be clean of leprosy is not the complete package. The King James Bible version rendered "Get up, and go home! Your faith has made you well" as "Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole."
Wholeness is the complete package. It includes salvation, complete healing and health, prosperity, divine protection and all that makes for a good and prosperous living. The man who returned to Jesus to show appreciation and say "Thank you" got the complete package. The other nine didn't and they stand the risk of having the leprosy come on them again. What you don't appreciate God for will depreciate in your hands. The same law applies to people around you. Always say thank you and the universe becomes more generous to you!
Saying thank you is a very important part of communication that can be easily overlooked and if prolonged, we could begin to lose certain opportunities and favours. We must learn to appreciate all the things in this world even to the simplest.
Thank-yous are not only rewarding for the recipient, but they are equally satisfying and inspiring for the sender.
The power of thank-you's isn’t limited to the actual saying it and receiving it; they have a special energy just in their idea. Saying thank-you can be one of the easiest exercises of all in order to change stress into success. Toward the end of each day, spend a moment reflecting on earlier events. Consider which people throughout the day actually served you the most. They don’t have to be individuals who actually did something helpful for you.
Sometimes, the people who stand in the way and create obstacles are actually helping the most because they confront you and force you to come up with your best, enabling you to become a greater achiever.
Therefore, don’t limit your thank-you's to those who’ve made your life easier in some fashion. Be sure to show gratitude to the people who’ve made it harder for you—in their way, they’ve helped you develop true grit.
To those who’ve challenged you or offered support, you can write long thank-you letters, short ones, or just tiny little notes. You can send them or save them or do whatever you want with them.
An important ingredient in opening your heart and seeing life as it truly is—a blessed and magnificent series of events—is to consider your day. Reflect upon your blessings and put your thank-you’s on paper.
Appreciation is everything, tracking what you are thankful for is very important in knowing what and who you need in your life! Set a time aside (possibly before going to bed) to consider what has occurred throughout the day. As you look back through the day’s events, consider which three individuals have served you well and made your life richer or more enlightened in some fashion. Write these individuals a thank-you letter from your heart, expressing your acknowledgment of the role they’ve played in your life and how their presence is of wonderful service to you.
The Bible says in:
1 Thessalonians 5:18"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
Never cease to say thank you to those that support you, when you do this, you are building your own success..
