Satan sent a demon called the devil of failure to go and create
negative and contrary situations in the life, career and businesses of
two young gentle men in order to test their mindset and what they
believe in. Satan's instructions was "if any of them fail the mindset test, frustrate him until he is miserable and a complete failure".
When the devil of failure got to the first man, he created
circumstances and problems in his business and perched on his shoulder
whispering into his minds ear "YOU WILL FAIL ..... THERE IS NO WAY OUT!"
The young man replied "I shall not fail ..... I will not fail" The
devil saw the response of the young man as an opportunity to keep on
carrying on with the conversation. He continued telling the man that he
would fail. The young man replied argumentatively and said with some
fear and heightened tension in his heart "I will not fail." They went
back and forth arguing like this until the devil of failure's voice
became louder. Soon afterwards, the young man began to wane in his battle against the failure voice.... he started seeing impossibilities, fear consumed him - he gradually began to believe the negative words he was hearing and in some of his conversations with
his colleagues he found himself saying he doesn't see any way out of
his problems - he gave up .... the wisdom and help door closed.... he failed and was
miserable.
The devil of failure moved to the second young
business man, created more severe terrible circumstances and problems in
his business. He perched on his shoulder and with some sense of
confidence stemming from the fact that he defeated the other guy, so
this one would be a piece of cake; he whispered and said "YOU WILL FAIL .... THERE IS NO WAY OUT OF THIS!" The young man immediately replied by
saying "I DON'T FAIL. I AM BORN OF GOD! IT IS NOT IN MY NATURE TO FAIL!"
He gave no room for argument because his response was a sure reflection
that he really knows who he was.
Shocked .... not expecting that
response.... the devil braced up and tried again saying... "you will
fail" The young man immediately cut him off saying "I don't fail" and
focused on drawing solutions from God withing his spirit. The devil of failure looked around
and saw that a glow of faith surrounded the man when he said "I don't fail". He tried the more by causing more problems but the young man was
focused on divine solutions based on his mindset ... "I don't fail".
It
was terrible turn of events for him because he proved to be too stubborn for the devil - one who knows who he was. The devil of failure kept at him - it was as though all hell broke loose. The devil was determined to succeed with this one and wouldn't take failure as an answer. But the young mind maintained his mindset and expected God to send helps from above. He remained opened to God expecting solutions even though it meant angels putting on clothes in the form of humans and coming to him with the much desired solutions.
As time went on, the faith shield was growing until it covered the
young man completely. That was when the solution came. The devil of
failure was dismayed and disappointed. He saw the young man getting
helps and he couldn't do anything to stop it. He had no choice but to
leave a failure ... while the young man remained a success.
There is a big difference between:
"I shall not fail" OR "I will not fail"
AND
The first two leads to argument and if care is not taken, you might end
up loosing the argument and fulfill the devil of failures prophesy.
The second one is a definitive response .... it is a final word that
comes from a mindset and a heart that really knows HIS TRUE NATURE IN
CHRIST JESUS. It is incontestable and usually re-enforces faith and the
resources of God to work in your favour.
What might sound good
might not be proper. Check what you say in response to situations and
make sure they really reflect your true divine nature in Jesus.
The Bible says we are "Partakers of the divine nature" 2 Peter 1:4. Find below a confession based on 2 Peter 1: 4 with regards to failure.
Preach it..... share it
